By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Philip_Mould]Philip Mould Being fed up with the hassles of travelling in public transport you may feel that it is high time you buy a car. But, monitory paucity comes on the way and you fail to realise your need. No more do you have to compromise with your dream because there are personal car loans to provide you with the necessary funds. Using personal car loans for purchasing a car is a common phenomenon in the UK. If you are eyeing at the latest model of a famous car company then you will need a massive amount of money. In this case you have to take a secured personal car loan. In order to take this loan you have to offer your home as security for the loan. The security assures the lender that he will have his loan back in case you default. So, he allows you to borrow a bigger amount. Except that a secured personal car loan comes with low interest rate. It also allows you to repay the loan in small monthly instalments, as the repayment term will be extended over a longer duration of time. However, your home remains under the risk of repossession in this loan. Unless you pay off the loan the lender has the right to seize your home and recover his money by selling it. Taking an unsecured personal car loan you can avoid this risk, as it does not require any collateral. By Janice Wee Some guys get all the women. Others get snubbed. Why the difference? want. Take a look at romance novels. The hero is always an alpha male. Submission guidelines for romance novels by publishers place huge emphasis on the hero. He must be someone the reader, presumably a woman, can fall in love with. He must be primarily an Alpha male. Meaning, he’s the leader of the group. Not a wannabe or second in command. He carries himself with confidence. Men look up to him. Women fall at his feet. Appearance-wise, invariably, he is lean and muscular with broad shoulders. The kind of body a guy gets from a healthy lifestyle with regular gym workouts. He is strong, yet treats his woman with tenderness. He is not afraid to pursue his woman. Now tread carefully here. There’s a fine line between what’s acceptable and what’s stalker behaviour. Also, there are similarities between romance novel heros and the serial killers in horror stories. What she reads can influence her reaction to your behaviour. Pay attention to the books she reads. If she’s into crime stuff, pursuing her relently and showing up at her workplace to court her can cause her to panic, making her think more stalker than Romeo. If it is romance novels she reads, surprising her with a huge bouquet of roses at her workplace and serenading her at outside her home will probably leave her starry eyed, or at least get her to notice you in a positive light. What can you do? The easiest thing you can do to increase your attractiveness to women is to head for the gym at least thrice a week and work out with the maximum weights you can handle. Build your body and the women would notice. From shoulders, to arms, to abs, to butt, to thighs. Women like men with muscle. Go easy on the beer. Apparently, romance novels typically have heros with muscled abs and no flab. Think that is too much? What do women do to attract men? Plastic surgery, boob jobs, starvation diets just to look attractive to men. At least men don’t have to survive on lettuce leaves and have balloons inserted into their chests to attract the opposite sex. Here’s where you can find the best deals on muscle building aids. Beyond the physical appearance, a man’s character counts. The way he treats others. A caring man is more appealing than a selfish lout. Okay, the Rhett Butler types appeal to romance readers but in real life? Carry yourself with confidence. Stand tall. Aspire to be the best you can be in all ways. A positive attitude shows. Keep your cool when others blow up. Your self control gives you the edge and women notice such things. One of the differences between the alpha whom women swoon over and the asshole who turns off the women is not the appearance but the attitude. A guy who growls all the time and blows up at the slightest provocation and is so full of himself is an asshole. A guy who fights for the rights of those under his protection, who takes responsibility for his own actions, who is incredible patient and has great self control is the alpha. The smart girls can tell the difference, but the naive ones usually can’t. Still, if you want your pick of the women, better be an alpha than an asshole. Sometimes a man may attract women for no obvious reason at all. The attraction could happen at a chemical level. Humans like animals secrete pheromones. These are sensed in a subconscious level. Contrary to popular belief, pheromones are odorless, though they are sometimes mixed into perfumes for that sex appeal effect. If you want to go all out to attract women, you can resort to pheromones. Not by refusing to bathe, but by using a pheromone fragrances. By Gareth Powell Kids love movies! When my children were young I filmed them on Super 8. I cut and edited the resulting footage so that it was not too disgusting. Now that they are grown up they find it a source of endless amusement. For me, a source of nostalgia. If you have children you have a built in excuse for using a camcorder and using it often. Building up a small library of videos of your children will, I assure you, be like storing riches in heaven.Points to note about shooting, in the nicest possible sense, children: Children love acting, love make believe, love dressing up, love showing off. Video gives free rein to all of these talents. Get down to their level. Filming from your level will almost always make them look smaller than they are and somewhat intimidated. Get down to their level and you will see the world as they see it, and they will feel part of the video-making process. Let them direct the video. Children love the idea of being creative, of making movies. As long as you keep their ideas within the discipline of videos, within the grammar of film making, you will end up with exciting material. But DO NOT let them, on your life, operate the camcorder. It is London to a brick they will drop it and there will be tears before tea-time. Be patient. Sometimes you will have to wait a long while to get the right shot. That’s fine. It will be well worth the effort. Give the children something to dress up in. They enjoy dressing up, and as they do so, many of them lose their initial shyness. Children act towards the camera far more naturally when they have been allowed to don another costume. Give them something to do, to play with. Children get engrossed in an activity and then become perfect camcorder subjects. Even finishing a jigsaw will do as long as it is something that holds their complete attention. Never prompt them what to do and never let their stage-struck parents prompt them either. Children do not respond well to stage direction. Find some way to put a date on the material as you take it. You will be amazed to find how soon you forget what was shot when. Some camcorders let you, as it were, date stamp the video. Another way is to use a cutaway shot of a newspaper in the first few frames. Anything so that at a later date you can positively date it. Take lots of close-ups showing facial expressions. The face is the personality of the child, and you simply cannot have too much of it. More than in most videos the sound is vital. You need their laughter, their rudery, their tantrums and you need it recorded. Mind the glare. If you have to use artificial lighting make sure that it does not glare in their sensitive eyes. Bounce it off the ceiling or use a reflector card instead. From my experience, children as they enter their teens often become camera conscious. In this case you will have to use subterfuge shooting with telephoto shots, getting them absorbed in something else while you shoot, shooting from a point of vantage like an upstairs window. The deceits, subterfuges and stratagems you have to go through to get them recorded permanently on video tape sometimes makes one feel like a member of the paparazzi. It is, I promise you, worth all the effort. Gareth Powell has made a lot of videos. He has written books and many articles about it. Much of this can be found on his Digital Images site, http://www.pixelates.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Gareth_Powell http://EzineArticles.com/?How-to-Make-Videos-of-Children&id=48420 no faxpayday loans discover cash loan fast free cash grand rapids bad credit car loan

By Joanne Robinson Anita had often complained that she attracted men that were not very truthful with her. They had either been unfaithful; lied about their whereabouts or never spoke how they really felt. This had been a problem in her dating experiences that she wanted to change but wasnt sure how to go about it. When Anita started addressing her patterns and why she kept attracting the same type of men, she realised that she had not been very honest in some areas of her life too. Because she was driven by fear and didnt like expressing her feelings, she tended to go along with situations that she was not happy with. This meant that she wasted a lot of time building relationships with men that in her heart she knew were not right for her. For example, when Anita started dating Tom she discovered that though she liked him he wasnt someone she would want to settle down with. Rather than being truthful, Anita reasoned that as she enjoyed his company there would be no harm in keeping the relationship going. At times Anita felt pangs of guilt for not being truthful but she was afraid of hurting Tom, especially when he said that he loved her. She also harboured fears about being alone and as she gained a social life with Tom she found it all the more harder to speak up. For Anita to break her patterns, she needed to address her fears and lack of social interaction. From adolescence to late twenties, Anita had never spent any real quality time being a happy single and was always on the look out for the next guy to make her feel complete. It took some time before Anita finally reached a place where she felt comfortable being single without needing a man to make her feel normal. She also got into a support group where she could practice being honest. It meant learning new skills in expressing her feelings, confronting and saying no to things she was not comfortable living with. Anita learned that in order to break the cycle of dishonesty in her relationships she had to learn to be truthful in her heart first. As she changed, the type of men she attracted started to as well. Somehow, the men who did not like assertive or congruent behaviour felt the need to withdraw from her company. The personal investment meant that her tastes changed too and she much more enjoyed the company of a man that liked her ability to be real. Whenever we discover a repetitive pattern of unhealthy dating its important to first take a look and find out what is going on with our attraction beacon. We like what we can relate to the most, so chances are if we learn to fix the parts of us that perpetuate the problem the attraction will disappear. Changing doesnt mean that we will necessarily lose a relationship as our example can influence others to grow with us but there is no guarantee of this. Try not to let this deter you from investing in yourself because life does get better with every advancement in growth. If you are caught up in a cycle of arguments, fights, stress and worry in your relationships, whether dating or otherwise dont suffer in silence, reach out for help. By Richard Kearns Dates are a critical part of family tree research. Making sure that we understand and verify the dates that we are recording is an important part of the historian’s duties. To understand the formats that dates have taken over the centuries, we need to look at two basic problems. The first problem related to the first day of the new year. Early calendars were based on the Feast of the Annunciation, the 25th of March, representing the first day of the new year. In the 1522, Venice introduced January 1st as the first day of the new year. Other countries in Europe, made this change over the next 200 years. The dates that other countries converted are as follows: 1544 Germany 1556 Spain, Portugal, Roman Catholic Netherlands 1559 Prussia Denmark, Sweden 1564 France 1579 Lorraine 1583 Protestant Netherlands 1600 Scotland 1725 Russia 1721 Tuscany 1752 England and colonies The second problem was created when the Julian calendar was introduced in 46 BC. The Julian calendar was based on 365 days for 3 years and the fourth year was 366 days. By the late 16th-century the calendar was out of step with the seasons by about 10 days. In 1582, Pope Gregory XIII replaced the Julian calendar with the Gregorian calendar. This calendar dropped 10 days from the month of October, for the first year only, to bring this calendar in line with the seasons. In addition to retaining every fourth year as a leap year, the new calendar dropped the leap year for every century year that was not divisible by 400. This change helped keep the accumulation problem from reoccurring. The Gregorian calendar also showed January 1st as the first day of the new year. The changes that we have talked about created a wide variety of problems for amateur and professional genealogists alike. Because countries adopted these changes over several centuries, dates have been misinterpreted routinely. During your research you may find that many dates appear to have two years. This is not because the writer was unsure of the date but in fact, because both the Julian and Gregorian calendars were being used simultaneously. You may have noticed that a certain date in an English document was recorded as January 15, 1754/5. This is an example of the “double dating” technique, where the Julian calendar was 1754 and the Gregorian calendar was 1755. In Germany, this problem would have existed as early as 1544. Needless to say, this conversion from the “old style” to the “new style” and the double dating technique that resulted from it, must be carefully considered by the historian and recorded exactly as they are found to preserve the integrity of the record. Another problem that we experience when recording dates is in the format that is used. In Europe, dates are typically recorded dd-mm-yyyy. You may also find that they are recorded as dd.mm.yy. In the United States, dates are recorded as mm-dd-yyyy or mm/dd/yyyy. I am confident that you have seen dates like 08/03/1995 where you are unsure if it refers to August 3 or March 8. Recently, the International Standards Organization introduced the ISO date standard of yyyy-mm-dd. Using this notation will ensure that everyone knows 1995/08/03 is August the third. There are a number all the advantages to using this notation. A few are as follows: easily readable, writeable, comparable and sortable by softwarelanguage independent can not be confused with other popular date notations consistency with the common 24h time notation system, where the larger units (hours) are also written in front of the smaller ones (minutes and seconds) strings containing a date followed by a time are also easily comparable and sortable (e.g. write “1995-02-04 22:45:00″) the notation is short and has constant length, making data entry and table layout easier date notations with the order “year, month, day” are already used widely throughout Japan, Korea, Sweden, Finland, Denmark a 4-digit year representation avoids overflow problems after 2099-12-31 Whether you have been working on your family tree for decades or just this week it is important to standardize the date format that you use. I recommend the International Standard (sometimes known as the ISO 8601) method of recording dates for all your documentation. Taking the time to study the country and era that your ancestor lived in will help you capture important facts and correct dates for each of them. Knowing a little history and being careful to record the facts exactly as you find them will ensure that your family heritage will be accurately preserved for future generations. Richard Kearns publishes an informative, easy to use website that helps people discover their family heritage and shows them how to document their family tree for future generations. By Karen Agnew-Griffith There are, in this complicated world, a great many step-parents. If you are one, as I am, do you know your legal position in terms of what you can and cannot authorise when it comes to your step children? Imagine you have recently married and your spouse has three children. Your spouse is off on camp with the youngest child leaving you to run around with the elder two. You agree they can go out cycling for a half hour. Then the police knock on the door. One of the children has been in an accident and is currently being treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital. The other child is being accused of causing the accident and the police want to talk to her. Neither of the childrens natural parents can be contacted by mobile phone. What can you do or more importantly what are you allowed to do? The answer to this question will depend on if you have Parental Responsibility. Who really has parental responsibility? A step-parent even if married to a parent of children does not acquire Parental Responsibility for a child automatically. Parental Responsibility is the bundle of rights and duties relating to a child. Duties include providing clothing, a home, an education and making sure no harm comes to the child. An individual with Parental Responsibility can authorise a change of name for a child in certain circumstances and can give consent to marry if the child is under the age of 18. The mother of a child always has Parental Responsibility. An unmarried father of a child whose birth was registered before 30th November 2003 does not automatically have Parental Responsibility even if he is registered as the father on the childs birth certificate. Since 1st December 2003 however an unmarried father who is present when the birth is registered i.e. is on the birth certificate, does acquire Parental Responsibility. Fathers without Parental Responsibility are able to acquire it through a formal agreement registered with the authorities or through a Court Order. Rights and responsibilities of step-parents Step-parents since 5th December 2005 can also acquire Parental Responsibility through a formal agreement or Court Order. Other Orders which result in Parental Responsibility to a step-parent or other individual (e.g. grand-parent) are a Residence Order which regulates where a child will live and gives the individual with the Residence Order Parental Responsibility until the child is 16. A Parental Responsibility Order however endures until the childs 18th birthday. Following the Civil Partnership Act 2004 coming into force on the 5th December 2005 same sex partners in a registered Civil Partnership are also able to acquire Parental Responsibility by formal agreement or Court Order. Step-parents however still will not and do not acquire Parental Responsibility automatically. For a formal agreement each person with Parental Responsibility has to sign the Agreement. This is often the natural parents and any other individuals who have acquired Parental Responsibility since the birth of the child. A step-parent on acquiring Parental Responsibility has the same duties and responsibilities as any other individual including a natural parent with Parental Responsibility. For advice on how to acquire parental responsibility and what your responsibilities are as a step-parent contact Karen Agnew-Griffith, specialist family lawyer with Woolley & Co solicitors. By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Steve_C_Clark]Steve C Clark Keeping pace with the fast changing society tempts you to spend more. As they say, spending the extra penny you cant afford to would land you in trouble. This clearly explains the use of credit cards. The moment you think of something, you flash out your credit card. The repercussions though are inevitable. You end up paying more interest which is a pat on your pocket. For this very reason personal loans, which are unsecured are on the rising trend. It is a general tendency that the bank offers you a credit card instead of an unsecured loan. In the beginning it sounds quite attractive as there is no fixed repayment day. Ultimately you end up paying interest around 23% which is quite unaffordable. This sends the use of credit card to a down ward spiral and the popularity of personal loans on the rise. This clearly explains why a credit card for short term loans isnt the best option for the typical borrower. Personal loans deals offer you the right option with flexible terms which are quite affordable. When a financial obligation crops up which is quite unavoidable, personal loan deals come quite handy. You must decide the loan amount that you need. It all depends on your credit situation and how much you can offer as collateral and more important if you can repay the amount easily. Since, you may not like to shell out the extra money, you have to shop around for the best deal offering personal loans. Terms and conditions may vary depending on the lender. You can certainly go on the web and shop around in all banks and of course some national lenders. The best choice of course could be credit unions which offer better rate and terms than banks. The reason being they are non profit organizations. When the choice is finally made from where the personal loan would be availed from, you have to be extra cautious in going through the terms and conditions that the lender offers to you. You can get personal loans ranging from 2000 to 10000. You should carefully go through the written terms which should be considered finally. No verbal agreement should be agreed upon. You should look for any hidden fees and charges. You should certainly ask for clarification from the officer in charge. Above all, you should curb the temptation to get extra loan amount than is required. Moreover you wont like to pay for credit insurance, buying clubs or other extra fees. It ultimately puts a heavy burden on your pocket. Being careful and honest makes personal loans deal the best choice. Learn from your mistakes and try to save the extra money to avoid those unnecessary negotiations.
